✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'I have not been intimate with my wife since the pollination of the palm trees—or their pruning.' He said: 'The pollination of the palm trees or their pruning means that they are pollinated, then left unpollinated or cut for forty days without being watered after pollination.' He said: 'Then I found a man with my wife. Her husband was pale, lean, with lank hair, while the man she was accused with was plump, dark-complexioned, with curly, tightly curled hair.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O Allah, make it clear; O Allah, make it clear.' Then he made them invoke curses on each other. She then gave birth to a child resembling the man she was accused with.
