حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا، وَعُذِّبَ، وَلَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا، وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ - أَوْ قَالَ: بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ - وَعُذِّبَ، وَلَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَهُمَا، وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ يَكْرَهُونَهُ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ الْآنُكُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
Translation

✧ Whoever makes an image will be tasked on the Day of Resurrection to breathe life into it, and he will be punished, and he will never breathe life into it. And whoever claims to have seen a dream he did not see will be tasked on the Day of Resurrection to tie two grains of barley together—or he said: between two grains of barley—and he will be punished, and he will never tie them together. And whoever listens to the talk of people who dislike it will have molten lead poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection.
