✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have had no contact with my family since the date harvest. The date palm, when it is pruned, stays without water for forty days. I found a man with my wife and her husband appeared to be pale, with disheveled hair. And the man who resembled the one she was accused with had curly hair and a dark complexion." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ supplicated to Allah for clarification, and then cursed both of them. Then a man who resembled the one she was accused with was brought to them.
