✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the shade of his chamber—Yahya said: it had almost withdrawn from him—and he said to his companions: 'A man will come to you looking at you with the eye of a devil. When you see him, do not speak to him.' Then a blue-eyed man came. When the Prophet ﷺ saw him, he called him and said: 'Why do you revile me, you and your companions?' He said: 'Stay as you are until I bring them to you.' He went and brought them, and they began swearing by Allah that they had not said or done anything. Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed: 'On the day when Allah will resurrect them all, they will swear to Him as they swear to you' to the end of the verse.
