حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ
مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، وَأَنَا أَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ، فَاخْتَبَأْتُ مِنْهُ خَلْفَ بَابٍ فَدَعَانِي، فَحَطَأَنِي حَطْأَةً، ثُمَّ بَعَثَنِي إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ، فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَقُلْتُ: هُوَ يَأْكُلُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was playing with the boys, so I hid from him behind a door. He called me and gave me a light pat, then he sent me to Mu'awiyah. I returned to him and said: He is eating.
