حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
الْبَسُوا مِنْ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبِيضَ، فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمْ، وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ، وَإِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدَ؛ إِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ، وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ

✧ "Wear white clothes from among your garments, for they are among the best of your clothes, and shroud your dead in them. And among the best of your kohl is ithmid; it clears the eyesight and makes the hair grow."
