✧ Umm Ḥufayd, the maternal aunt of Ibn ʿAbbās, sent the Messenger of Allah ﷺ some clarified butter, dried curd, and mastigure. He ate from the clarified butter and the dried curd but left the mastigure out of distaste. He said: 'And it was eaten on the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Had it been unlawful, it would not have been eaten on the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'
