Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAbd al-Ṣamad from his father
  2. al-Ḥasan / Ibn Dhakwān
  3. Ḥabīb
  4. Saʿīd b. Jubayr
  5. Ibn ʿAbbās

✧ The Prophet ﷺ forbade walking in one khuff or one sandal. There is much other speech in the hadith besides this, but he did not narrate it to us; he struck it out in his book. I thought he abandoned his hadith because he narrated from Amr b. Khalid, who narrates from Zayd b. Ali, and Amr b. Khalid is worth nothing.
