✧ A man called out to Ibn Abbas while people were around him, saying, 'Is it a Sunnah you seek with this nabidh, or is it easier for you than milk and honey?!' Ibn Abbas said, 'The Prophet ﷺ came to Abbas and said, "Give us to drink." He said, "This nabidh is a drink that has been mixed and stirred. Shall we not give you milk or honey?" He said, "Give us to drink from what you give the people." So the Prophet ﷺ and his companions from the Muhajirun and Ansar were brought two waterskins containing nabidh. When the Prophet ﷺ drank, he hurried before being fully quenched, raised his head, and said, "You have done well; do it like this."' Ibn Abbas said, 'The Messenger of Allah's ﷺ approval of that is dearer to me than that its valleys flow with milk and honey.'
