حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَفَاءَلُ، وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُ، وَيُعْجِبُهُ كُلُّ اسْمٍ حَسَنٍ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take good omens and not evil ones, and he liked every good name.
