✧ A drink was brought to the Prophet ﷺ and he passed it around to the people, among whom was a man who was fasting. When it reached him, he said to him: “Drink.” It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, he does not break his fast—or he fasts forever.” He said—meaning the Messenger of Allah ﷺ—: “May he not fast who fasts forever.”
