✧ I heard Asma bint Yazid, one of the women of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by us while we were in a group of women, and he greeted us and said, 'Beware of the curse of those who are privileged.' So we asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the curse of the privileged?' He replied, 'Perhaps one of you may lengthen her hand between her parents and become a spinster, so Allah will provide her with a husband, wealth, and children. Then she will become angry and say, 'I have never seen any good from him.' But there was a time when he was the best for her.'
