حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ الْغَسَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ حَكِيمُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ وَحَبِيبُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
لَا يَدَعْ رَجُلٌ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ لِلهِ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ يَقُولُ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ فَإِنَّهَا أَلْفُ حَسَنَةٍ، فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يَعْمَلَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ فِي يَوْمِهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ. وَيَكُونُ مَا عَمِلَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ سِوَى ذَلِكَ وَافِرًا

✧ Let not any man among you fail to perform for God a thousand good deeds when he reaches morning, saying: Subḥāna Allāhi wa biḥamdih (Glory be to God and praise be to Him) one hundred times, for that is a thousand good deeds. Indeed, by God’s will, he will not perform during his day that amount of sins, and whatever good he does besides that will be abundant.
