✧ Marwan sent to Umm Ma'qil al-Asadiyyah asking her about this hadith, and she narrated to him that her husband had assigned a young camel of hers for the sake of Allah, and she wanted to perform 'umrah, so she asked her husband for the young camel but he refused. She came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him, and he commanded him to give it to her. The Prophet ﷺ said: Hajj and 'umrah are part of the cause of Allah. And he said: An 'umrah in Ramadan equals a Hajj—or suffices for a Hajj. And Hajjaj said: equals a Hajj—or suffices for a Hajj.
