حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ حَدَّثَهُ

أَقْرَأَنِي جِبْرِيلُ [عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ] عَلَى حَرْفٍ فَرَاجَعْتُهُ، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَسْتَزِيدُهُ وَيَزِيدُنِي، حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ
