حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ جَارِيَةً لَهُمْ سَوْدَاءَ ذَبَحَتْ شَاةً بِمَرْوَةٍ. فَذَكَرَ [ذَلِكَ] كَعْبٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهَا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Muʿāwiyah
  2. al-Ḥajjāj
  3. Nāfiʿ
  4. Ibn Kaʿb b. Mālik
  5. his father

✧ A black slave girl of theirs slaughtered a sheep with a sharp stone. Ka'b mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ordered him to eat it.
