machine translationIt is narrated by al-Thawrī, Ibn Jurayj and Ayman b. Nābil from Abū al-Zubayr from Jābir. Layth b. Saʿd and ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith differed from them: they narrated it from Abū al-Zubayr from Saʿīd b. Jubayr and Ṭāwūs from Ibn ʿAbbās. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Ḥumayd al-Ruʾāsī and Zakariyyā b. Khālid, a shaykh of the people of Kūfah from whom Qays b. al-Rabīʿ and others narrate, narrated it from Abū al-Zubayr from Ṭāwūs alone from Ibn ʿAbbās. The hadith of Ibn ʿAbbās is closer to the correct version than the hadith of Jābir.
