حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَعَفَّانٌ الْمَعْنَى قَالا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

أَهْوَنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا أَبُو طَالِبٍ، فِي رِجْلَيْهِ نَعْلَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Ḥasan and ʿAffān al-Maʿná
  2. Ḥammād b. Salamah ʿAnthābit al-Bunānī
  3. Abū ʿUthmān al-Nahdī
  4. Ibn ʿAbbās
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The one with the least severe punishment among the people of the Fire is Abū Ṭālib. On his feet will be two sandals of fire, from which his brain will boil.
