Umm al-Fadl, Wife of Abbas

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ أَبُو النَّضْرِ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ أَنَّ أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ أَخْبَرَتْهُ

أَنَّهُمْ شَكُّوا فِي صَوْمِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ بِلَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ بِعَرَفَةَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ

Translation

✧ They had doubts about whether the Prophet ﷺ was fasting on the day of Arafah, so she sent him milk and he drank it while he was addressing the people at Arafah on his camel.
