✧ I placed water for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to perform ghusl and screened him. He poured water on his hand and washed it once or twice. Sulayman said: I do not know whether he mentioned the third time or not. Then he poured water with his right hand over his left and washed his private part. Then he rubbed his hand on the ground—or on the wall—then rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, washed his face and his hands, washed his head, then poured water over his body, then moved aside and washed his feet. She said: I handed him a cloth, and he said, "Like this?" and gestured with his hand that he did not want it.

machine translationAl-Aʿmash narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Muʿāwiyah, Wakīʿ, Ḥafṣ, ʿĪsā b. Yūnus, al-Thawrī, Abū Ḥamzah al-Sukkarī and Muḥāḍir narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Sālim, from Kurayb, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from Maymūnah. Abū Wakīʿ narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Sālim, from Kurayb, from Maymūnah, and he omitted Ibn ʿAbbās from it. The first is more sound (aṣaḥḥ).
