حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تَقُولُ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا نَائِمَةٌ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ أَصَابَنِي ثِيَابُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would get up and pray at night while I was sleeping beside him, and when he prostrated his garment would touch me while I was menstruating.
