✧ I was with my father in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and there was a man with him whispering to him, so he seemed to be turning away from my father. We left his presence, and my father said to me: 'O my son, did you not see your cousin seeming to turn away from me?' I said: 'O father, there was a man with him whispering to him.' He said: We returned to the Prophet ﷺ, and my father said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I said to Abdullah such and such, and he informed me that there was a man with you whispering to you. Was there anyone with you?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'And did you see him, O Abdullah?' He said: I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'That was Jibril, and he is the one who kept me occupied from you.'
