machine translationMūsā b. Abī ʿĀʾishah narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Shādhān narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Mūsā b. Abī ʿĀʾishah, from ʿAbdullāh b. Shaddād, from Umm Salamah; this was stated by Aḥmad b. Idrīs al-Makhramī from Shādhān. Others narrate it from al-Thawrī, from Mūsā b. Abī ʿĀʾishah, from a freed slave (mawlā) of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, may God have mercy on her. Likewise said ʿUmar b. Saʿīd b. Masrūq and Raqabah b. Maṣqalah, from Mūsā b. Abī ʿĀʾishah, and that is the correct [version].
