حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي رَيْطَةُ عَنْ كَبْشَةَ ابْنَةِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَتْ
سَأَلْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ قُلْتُ: أَخْبِرِينِي مَا نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَهْلَهُ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَهَانَا أَنْ نَعْجُمَ النَّوَى طَبْخًا، وَأَنْ نَخْلِطَ الزَّبِيبَ وَالتَّمْرَ
Translation

✧ I asked Umm Salamah: “Tell me, what did the Messenger of God ﷺ forbid his household?” She said: “He forbade us to cook date stones to soften them, and to mix raisins and dried dates.”
