Chain of narrators
- Ibn Abū ʿAdī
- Ibn ʿAwn
- al-Ḥasan
- his mother
- Um Salamah
✧ I have not forgotten what he said on the day of the trench while he was offering them milk, and his chest was covered with dust while saying, "O Allah, indeed the good is the good of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajireen." Then he saw 'Ammar and said, "Woe to him, the son of Sumayyah, he will be killed by a rebellious group." He mentioned it to Muhammad, meaning Ibn Sireen, who asked, "About his mother?" I said, "Yes, indeed she used to mix with them while snow falls on her."
