حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ [ ؓ ] مَا كَانَ يَنْهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُنْتَبَذَ فِيهِ ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ. قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَالسَّعْنُ ؟ قَالَتْ: إِنَّمَا أُحَدِّثُكَ مَا سَمِعْتُ، وَلَا أُحَدِّثُكَ بِمَا لَمْ أَسْمَعْ
Translation

✧ I asked Aishah ؓ: What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit for making nabidh in? She said: He prohibited the gourd and the varnished jar. He said: I said: What about the leather water-skin? She said: I am only telling you what I heard, and I am not telling you what I did not hear.
