✧ By Allah, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing at the door of my chamber while the Abyssinians were playing in the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was screening me with his cloak so that I could watch their play. Then he would stand for my sake until I was the one who turned away. So estimate the capacity of a young girl, eager for amusement.

machine translationThe hadith of ʿĀʾishah is more authentic than the hadith of Nabhān, because Nabhān is not known for transmitting knowledge and narrates only two hadiths: this one, and the one about the mukātab, that if he has with him what he needs to pay, his mistress must veil herself from him. So the hadith of Nabhān is not to be acted upon, because it conflicts with the established hadiths.
