حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى صَلَاةً دَاوَمَ عَلَيْهَا، وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَيْهِ مَا دَاوَمَ عَلَيْهَا وَإِنْ قَلَّتْ وَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا
Translation

✧ When he prayed a prayer, he would persist in it. And the most beloved prayer to him was that which he persisted in, even if it was little. And he said: "Indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, does not tire until you tire."
