قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ فَأَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ أَوْ عَمْرَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ: صُبُّوا عَلَيَّ مِنْ سَبْعِ قِرَبٍ لَمْ تُحْلَلْ أَوْكِيَتُهُنَّ، لَعَلِّي أَسْتَرِيحُ فَأَعْهَدَ إِلَى النَّاسِ. قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَأَجْلَسْنَاهُ فِي مِخْضَبٍ لِحَفْصَةَ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ، وَسَكَبْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ مِنْهُنَّ، حَتَّى طَفِقَ يُشِيرُ إِلَيْنَا: أَنْ قَدْ فَعَلْتُنَّ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ
Translation

- ʿĀʾishah
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during his illness in which he died, 'Pour over me from seven waterskins whose openings have not been untied, so that I may rest and give instructions to the people.' 'A'ishah said: So we seated him in a copper tub belonging to Hafsah, and poured water over him from them, until he began gesturing to us, 'You have done it.' Then he went out.
