✧ About this verse: {If you disclose what is in your hearts or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it} [al-Baqarah 284], and about this verse: {Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it} [al-Nisa' 123]. She said: 'No one has asked me about them since I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about them.' He said: 'O 'A'ishah, this is Allah's holding the servant accountable for what afflicts him of fever, misfortune, and a thorn, even a piece of merchandise he puts in his sleeve and loses, then he becomes anxious about it and finds it in his side, until the believer emerges from his sins as pure red gold emerges from the furnace.'
