حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ

حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ. قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْأَشْعَثِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ قَيْسٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Yaḥyá b. Zakariyyā b. Abū Zāʾidah

✧ My father narrated to me, from Salih al-Asadi, from al-Shaʿbi, from Muhammad b. al-Ashʿath, from ʿAʾishah, from the Prophet ﷺ the like of it. ʿAbd Allah said: Muhammad b. al-Ashʿath, meaning Ibn Qays.
