حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَهِيَ مُسْتَتِرَةٌ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ صُورَةُ تَمَاثِيلَ، فَتَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُهُ، ثُمَّ أَهْوَى إِلَى الْقِرَامِ فَهَتَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ مِنْ أَشَدِّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُشَبِّهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللهِ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her while she was screened by a thin curtain containing images of figures. His face changed color, then he reached for the curtain and tore it with his hand, then said: 'Among the people most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection are those who imitate Allah's creation.'
