حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

مَا خُيِّرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ قَطُّ أَحَدُهُمَا أَيْسَرُ مِنَ الْآخَرِ، إِلَّا أَخَذَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَيْسَرُ.

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was never given a choice between two matters, one of which was easier than the other, but that he chose the easier one.
