✧ I entered upon Aishah and said to her: Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the meat of sacrificial animals after three days? She said: Yes. The people were afflicted with hardship, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted the rich to feed the poor. Then I saw the family of Muhammad ﷺ eating trotters after fifteen days. I said to her: Why was that? He said: She laughed and said: The family of Muhammad never ate their fill of bread with condiment for three consecutive days until he met Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
