حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، فَإِذَا فَجَرَ الْفَجْرُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ اتَّكَأَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ، حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُؤْذِنُهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray eleven rak'ahs at night. When dawn broke, he would pray two brief rak'ahs, then lie down on his right side until the muezzin came to call him for the prayer.
