حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

نِمْتُ فَرَأَيْتُنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ قَارِئٍ يَقْرَأُ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَذَا ؟ فَقَالُوا: هَذَا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: كَذَلِكَ الْبِرُّ، كَذَلِكَ الْبِرُّ، وَكَانَ أَبَرَّ النَّاسِ بِأُمِّهِ.

✧ I slept and saw myself in Paradise, and I heard the voice of a reciter reciting. I said: Who is this? They said: This is Harithah b. al-Nu'man. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Thus is righteousness, thus is righteousness,' and he was the most dutiful of people to his mother.
