حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ صَنَعْتُ الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا، وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي لَمْ أَفْعَلْهُ دَخَلْتُ الْبَيْتَ، فَأَخْشَى أَنْ يَجِيءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أُفُقٍ مِنَ الْآفَاقِ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُ دُخُولَهُ، فَيَرْجِعُ وَفِي نَفْسِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ.

✧ One day the Prophet ﷺ entered upon me and said, 'Today I did something I wish I had not done. I entered the House, and I fear that a man from one of the horizons may come and not be able to enter it, and he may return with something in his heart about it.'
