Translation

✧ I asked Aishah: How was the sleep of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was in a state of major ritual impurity? Did he perform ghusl before sleeping? She said: He used to do both; sometimes he performed ghusl and slept, and sometimes he performed wudu and slept. He said: I said to her: How was the recitation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at night? Did he recite aloud or quietly? She said: He used to do both; sometimes he recited aloud, and sometimes quietly.
