✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ became angry with Safiyyah bt. Huyayy, and she said to me: Would you like to make the Messenger of God ﷺ pleased with me, and I will give you my day? I said: Yes. So she took a veil of hers dyed with saffron and sprinkled it with water, then put it on her head. Affan said: So that its fragrance would spread. Then she entered upon him on her day and sat beside him. He said: Go away, O 'A'ishah, for this is not your day. I said: God's bounty He gives to whom He wills. Then she told him about me. Affan said: And he became pleased with her.
