حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلًا يَقْرَأُ آيَةً، فَقَالَ: رَحِمَهُ اللهُ، لَقَدْ ذَكَّرَنِي آيَةً كُنْتُ أُنْسِيتُهَا

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ heard a man reciting a verse, and he said, 'May Allah have mercy on him. He reminded me of a verse I had been made to forget.'
