حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

سُرِقَ لِي ثَوْبٌ، فَجَعَلْتُ أَدْعُو عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا تُسَبِّخِي عَنْهُ

Translation

✧ A garment of mine was stolen, so I began to supplicate against the thief. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Do not absolve him (by your supplication).”
