حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْكِرْمَانِيُّ حَسَّانُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا أُمَّتَاهُ حَدِّثِينِي شَيْئًا سَمِعْتِيهِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الطَّيْرُ تَجْرِي بِقَدَرٍ وَكَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ الْفَأْلُ الْحَسَنُ

✧ I came to Aishah and said: O my mother, tell me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Birds fly by destiny, and he was pleased by good omens.
