حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُأَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى، يَقْرَأُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ وَيَنْفُثُ. قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَلَمَّا اشْتَدَّ وَجَعُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، كُنْتُ أَنَا أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْهِ, وَأَمْسَحُ عَنْهُ بِيَدِهِ رَجَاءَ بَرَكَتِهَا

Translation

  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ When he complained, he would recite over himself the mu'awwidhat and blow. He said: Aishah said: When the pain of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intensified, I would recite over him and wipe him with his own hand, hoping for its blessing.
