حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ

كَانَ لِآلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَحْشٌ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَعِبَ وَاشْتَدَّ وَأَقْبَلَ وَأَدْبَرَ، فَإِذَا أَحَسَّ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ دَخَلَ رَبَضَ، فَلَمْ يَتَرَمْرَمْ مَا دَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يُؤْذِيَهُ

Translation

The family of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a pet. Whenever the Messenger of Allahﷺ went out, it would play and become excited. And when it sensed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had entered, it would stop moving about and would stay in its place out of reverence for him.
