حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمَيْنَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا سُئِلَتْ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ ؟ فَقَالَتْ: تَعْجِزُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ أَنْ تَتَّخِذَ مِنْ أُضْحِيَّتِهَا سِقَاءً ! ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ - أَوْ مَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ - عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ, وَكَذَا وَكَذَا

Translation

✧ She was asked about nabidh in earthen jars. She said: Is one of you unable to make a waterskin from her sacrificial animal? Then she said: The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade—or the Messenger of God ﷺ prohibited—nabidh in earthen jars, and such and such.
