✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ became upset with Safiyyah bint Huyayy about something. Safiyyah said: “O Aishah, make the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pleased with me, and you shall have my day.” She said: “Yes.” So she took a veil of hers dyed with saffron and sprinkled it with water so that its fragrance would spread. Then she sat beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Move aside, O Aishah, for it is not your day.” She said: “That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills.” And she told him about the matter, so he became pleased with her.
