✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ, when he wanted to marry off one of his daughters, would sit by her curtain and say: 'So-and-so mentions So-and-so,' naming her and naming the man who mentions her. If she remained silent, he married her off; and if she disliked it, she pecked at the curtain. If she pecked at it, he did not marry her off.
