✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placing his hands on the forelock of a horse while he was talking to a man. I said: I saw you placing your hands on the forelock of the horse of Dihyah al-Kalbi while you were talking to him. He said: 'Did you see [that]?' She said: 'Yes.' He said: 'That was Jibril ﷺ, and he sends you greetings of peace.' She said: 'And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. May Allah reward him well as a companion and intimate friend; what an excellent companion and what an excellent intimate friend.'
