✧ I asked Aishah: How was the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during Ramadan? She said: He did not increase in Ramadan or in other than it beyond eleven rak'ahs. He would pray four, and do not ask about their length and beauty. Then he would pray four, and do not ask about their beauty and length. Then he would pray three. Aishah said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, do you sleep before you pray witr? He said: O Aishah, my eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.
