حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ. [ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ]: وَهَذَا أَرَى أَنَّ فِيهِ: عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، وَلَكِنْ كَذَا كَانَ فِي الْكِتَابِ، فَلَا أَدْرِي أَغْفَلَهُ أَبِي أَوْ كَذَا هُوَ مُرْسَلٌ ؟
Translation

✧ Ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ something similar. [Abu Abd al-Rahman said]: And I think that in it: from his father, from al-A'raj, but it was like that in the book, so I do not know whether my father overlooked it or it is mursal.
